I Know i will read this book over and over again because it made me feel more courageous about getting naked with my feelings. Its a simply written,powerful, empowering read .
This book is about emotional honesty, a worthy subject. Patrick treats it in a straight-forward way, with insights and reminders that intimacy through language is a human "connection" worth pursuing. I would recommend it!
Dr. Williams fascination with what makes people tick has led him to provide tools to anyone who has been paralyzed by fear to live a freer, more fulfilled life. In fact, he traces his own quest for freedom and meaning in life in a transparent way that inspires trust in his premise.
Wanting to learn to master fear, replace it with love of self and then others, and to live in the present resonates with my own life's journey. So I read this book in one afternoon, hungry to see where we agree and disagree.
Even though I intentionally embrace a Biblical world view, we agree on almost all concepts. Why? Because truth is truth and many roads lead there.
