I loved this book! Beautifully and thoughtfully written. It had a little bit of everything and brought forth the power to really make the reader contemplate life. Short stories and poetry and words of Christ intertwined throughout. “Doctor Lipton”… a trusted professional who appallingly hurt someone, rather than helped and the effects of that. “Appreciating Beauty” - be who you are for yourself, if others can’t accept that, it’s their problem, not yours. “The True Master” - that tells a very powerful truth. “It’s Okay to be Gay”… Please don’t judge others. Some people accept their homosexuality, others struggle and are tortured by it. It is not our place to judge or criticize or condemn. “The Roaring, Raging River” - it saddens me that anyone would feel this hopeless. Know that you are loved! “Queen of Beauty” - another sad story. Things are not as they appear. “Mr. Perfect” - Again, things are not as they appear. “Day of Darkness” - every day won’t be a struggle, push past it to see better days.Thank you Joe for sitting down and talking with me about your book - you are truly talented!
